約瑟夫·賈格爾（Joseph Jagger）是一位英國商人經營紡織業，他於1830年9月2日出生於英格蘭，他在1881年運用輪盤上的數據打破蒙特卡洛定律。

他的一生由1871開始賈格爾當年曾是一位零工，隨著自己的努力建立了自己的紡織王國，不過最終經商失敗將面臨破產的他靠著四個小孩得到支持。1880-81年間他與大兒子弗雷德、姪子奧茨帶著由親人那借來的錢一同前往蒙特卡洛賭場。

賈格爾靠著紡織經驗中紡織車輪中永遠無法達到均衡的平衡點，在精算數據中領悟出一種獨特的輪盤攻略下注法。

進入賭場後賈格爾花了一個月的時間記錄下輪盤中最經常出現的數字，開始嘗試下注，經過幾番測試開始贏錢，在短短幾天中便從賭場贏得超過200萬法郎，並在當時成為首位賭客贏得的現金大於賭場中特定桌檯上的儲備金，被譽為打破蒙特卡洛銀行的男人。

Monte carlo銀行係指-在賭場每一張檯桌上當時皆備有10萬法郎的現金預備金，此儲備金稱之為檯桌上的銀行，當儲備金的金額小於賭客押注獎金時，檯桌上的遊戲將被暫停，賭場將由金庫中取出額外的資金，方可繼續檯桌上的機率運行。

當時他雇用了六名文職人員進入賭場，在每天開放的12小時中詳細記錄每個檯桌上開出的號碼，並在這些號碼中預測鑽研投注方式，賭場中有六個輪盤檯桌，他的方式無法在其中五個進行獲利，但令人驚奇的是最後一個檯桌上卻意外讓他成功運行，在第一天他便贏得70000的籌碼，連續四天他便贏得300000的籌碼。

當賭場發覺他異常不斷贏錢時，便在當日結束營業時改變了輪盤的軌跡，此舉確實也讓賈格爾在隔日輸了許多錢，並意識到賭場更換了輪盤中的滾球規律，不過他獲勝時輪盤滾動的軌跡，並在短短的兩三年間再度從賭場贏得45萬的高額獎金。

賭場隨後進行反制並在每日關閉檯桌時進行檢討，賈格爾經歷兩日的挫敗後最終收手離開檯面，並結束了他一生的傳奇，不過當時他已從帶走325萬英鎊的獲利重返他的故鄉，將紡織工作告一段落轉投資到房地產物業上。

賈格爾打破蒙特卡洛賭場輪盤!的投注方式是什麼?
